On a sidenote, Burzum already WAS used as part of a soundtrack. The movie Gummo had a really weird OST with several (Black) Metal Bands like Burzum ("Rundgang um die tranzendentale..."), Niflheim, Bethlehem, Bathory or Mystifier and freaking Madonna plus some odd folk/country songs.

And BTW that was a really great movie, that was equally (positively) weird as Mulholland Drive. Just search for "Gummo Trailer" or just Gummo at youtube to find some videos (it seems links aren't allowed here).
