Oh, and I'm FROM Detroit, in case anybody wants to get their feelers hurt, twist up their panties, and stomp on my balls. And yeah, I grew up MOST of my life in Oakland County and beyond.. but I've lived all over DETROIT, both sides of Woodward. *sigh..* and I miss the Detroit of old, as much as anybody who came up there during times of growth, prosperity, and the social AWESOMEness that Detroit once embodied.

I didn't get hip to The Tea party 'til the mid/late 90s... but NOT too late to LOVE and 'get' their music! Long time fan of TTP and Jeff's solo music. Not sure where the influence came from (Dearborn? Detroit??? LoL =), but I've always just found the Middle Eastern flavor of their music to be just as delicious as the food!!

Who gives a shit about the radio? Commercial radio died years ago. Yeah, he's "not the same" without Chatwood & JB, but, personally, I think TTP had run its' course with The Seven Circles anyway. As an artist, it's only natural JM would want to try something different and with a new set of people instead of continue to plod along with TTP when he's not even interested in that anymore. That said, I wouldn't mind a reunion, but, I won't feel my life is incomplete without one.

I just happen to be Martin's cousin. Believe it or not, your call. Got to spend time with him back in 2001 when he came to LaSalle, ON...His hometown. Played a local festival with the Tea Party while they were still all together.

no, Jeff Martin is actually Canadian, but lives in Ireland now. He was the frontman/songwriter for the band The Tea Party....if you like this stuff, i suggest you check out TTP's stuff
