  • nice!

  • sounds kind of like a cross between black metal and melodeath

  • now your mega suck you cant play guitar its shame on you when you play it shit whats this its the same notes ff

  • @makemesmile857 0 uploads = obvious troll

  • like it dude sounds like some evil old school death metal..reminds me of possessed

  • whats this your suck dud go kill your self :o

  • @makemesmile857 fuck you

  • LOL :-D

  • sounds like every other rnd-shred riff :/

  • Nice use of displacing minor triads dude! Defend the faith and keep it metal!

  • When tremolo pick really fast I lock my entire arm instead of just moving my wrist. Is that improper form? Or is it "okay" to do?

  • @Freddy3740 when i pick tremolo i tend to lock my arm and just use my wrist, its better to avoid string noise also gives u control and precision which is what ur looking for if u are metal player if ur a punk rock player then use ur whole arm and make a mess cause thats what its all about XD Haha...

  • Sounds almost black metal... Just needs more dissonance

  • excellent. playing and sounding great on a really cool curveball guitar.

  • sounds awesome but its kinda empty, try adding some open palm mutes in there and see how it sounds

  • is tremolo picking were you alternitive pick , but you put some skin into it, so it makes that kinda hymonic kinda sound? please help

  • @murdocdevil

well as far as i know tremolo picking is like a much more sped up version of alternative picking. alternative picking is just like a "phrase" or whatever you want to call it for using your pick to play the strings upside down, instead of just playing downstrokes.

  • is tremlo picking when you alternitive pick but put some skin into it it it makes that sound? can someone please help?

  • Tremolo ftw

  • dude, you should totally make some more melodeath tremolo shit. that would be hella sick! oh, and see if you can get a harmony going too.!!!!!

  • i thinks itl ike a traditional melodeath riffing type deal lol sounds cool but what kinda guitar is that

  • @virginkiller777

    It's a mosrite!

  • @virginkiller777 more like Dark Tranquillity's first EP

  • Nothing special. but long tremolo. skills...

  • Mmmm, sick! Nice work...Great skills. 5/5 :D

  • sounds more black metal

  • lol metal on a mosrite

  • ftw. I didn't have a guitar of my own back then, hence why I was playing on my dads guitar, the mosrite. But whatever style you choose play on it with doesn't really matter to me as it still sounds good anyway

  • nah dude I'm not knocking the mosrite, I think they're the coolest guitars ever, it's just funny to see it used for metal that's all.

  • Definitely a death lick. Put some blast beat drums on top of there, it'll sound great!

  • Thanks bro :)

  • Awesome tremolo n_n

    Check mine too!

  • Thanks man, I'll be sure to do that!

  • Some nice work dude.

  • Thanks bro!

  • Hahah :D

  • i like it. i think you should try and make a song out of it

  • Thanks man, maybe I will

  • awsome

  • No unfortunately not. I usually just sit down and improvise on my guitar for fun, but every once in a while I stop and think like "That riff was pretty cool" and I record it mainly in order to remember it. I might try putting together a complete song later, once I've come up with a few more good riffs.

As for the changing of sound, I don't think tuning down the guitar would make it more like black metal, because as far as I know they rarely use downtuned guitars. And Im not a fan of BM either

  • I did the same a while ago:) but when you're in a creative mood it's worth to work out the whole song structure with some different riffs that you can still modify later, add more tracks, solo and such... but if you have the main structure of the song, you'll have more will to finish it later (or leastways I have:)

and yeah, I didn't mean changing the sound by tuning down, that's really not the BM sound...

it still can be almost anything, and it's just good if it's not just another cliché

  • if you changed the sound a bit it'd be rather black than death but ofc it depends on a lot of things that's not about the guitar...

    have you got complete songs?

  • Thank you

  • Simple but nice.
