I had something similar like the 200 but from Kodak. Man was i amazed when i got my first digital camera 10 years ago. A lot has changed since then, but 10 years ago who would be thinking
"in a few years we can make digital pictures with our cellphone"
It wasn't the first one, but you can hook it up to a Newton2xxx and remotely take pictures. Another Apple product slightly ahead of its time. (me = apple kool-aid)
Actually, the first consumer digital camera was a Dycam (the Dycam Model 1). It was released in 1990. In 1991, Kodak released the DCS-100. Is that what you have?

i used to have an old quicktake 150, but it only had stupid proprietary connections unlike the universal AV connectors

I actually do own the first. The first one available to the general public was a kodak.
