To be honest I think it's wrong to feed live I've got snakes but I use frozen. Cus it is sick it's inhumane frozen means no pain that's probably agonising .the problem with feeding live is it sees something move they see it as food

I dont want to argue with people saying dont feed frozen thawed but I have a question.

I heard that frozen rabbits lose a lot of I think it's vitamin B dont quote me when frozen and with a big snake like this bunnies are like the only thing big enough to feed them and Wouldnt feeding frozen bunnies be bad without that vitamin or whatever?

Heres what i do with my retic its only about 3ft. right now I take the rat and flick it's head to where it can't bite or really move at all then feed it.

@pinktiger3 Yes, if you feed snakes frozen they are taking in significantly less vitamin B. They can get some sort of deficiency from this- I took my carpet python to the vet as some of her scales were getting deformed. I started supplementing her food with vitamin B and gave her a few doses via oral syringe and everything cleared up.

I love the people who comment on these videos if it has been feeding live and by the looks of it the snake is pretty old because of its size its pretty hard/near impossible to switch to frozen heck my ball python before i sold it would not for the life of me feed on anything other than live, i cant imagine switching a snake like this.

rule of thumb is 1/2 their length and 1/3 for width for proper enclosure size. Given the set up there it looked perfect..i'm envious actually.
