actually... a good 50 watts rms is okay on most half decent factory speakers to tell the truth theyre obviousosly not going to be totally amazing like seperate tweeters and midsw and stuff but if your cash strapped and need some more cleaner power line coverter and a 200x4 amp is pretty good for the money it costs not saying add expensive subs and such with a aftermarket head unit though.

I had a kenwood dpx-503 headunit (double din obviously) hooked up to my monsoon speakers, with a 12" alpine type x, and a alpine mrp-m1000 wired down to 2 ohms in a 1.6 cubic foot ported box. and ive never heard so much distortion until i switched back to the factory deck. i may not know much about car stereo systems, sorry. but i dont buy walmart shit. prick.

u don't even have to bother the factory amp. I ran my remote wire to the fuse box...but u gotta make sure u tap into a fuse that turns off when ur car turns off (u can use the radio fuse)
