My grandparents flew on the Lufthansa A380 yesterday from JFK>FRA :D Not sure if it was D-AIMC but I believe it was! They had a go-around just about 100ft above the runway in Frankfurt since the pilot overflew half of it by being to high on the approach :)

I flew on D-AIMC back from Tokyo last month! Very nice aircraft, also went on MF to Tokyo. Even had a look in the flightdeck on MF.

IFE BOX? BOOO! i dont understand how a modern aircraft operated by Lufthansa still allow an IFE box to be under the seat, legroom must have sucked huh?

@xxquiker / Nice you noticed this! Actually It didn´t bother me at all. There was a room to strecth my legs between the wall of the fuselage and front seat. Singapore Airlines A380 doesn´t have those IFE boxes under the seats. Been there, done that.
