I love how the cello blends with his voice, kind of like he's trying to mimic its sound. This whole song has that perfect simple beauty. It's a good balance, I think.

The chorus makes me want to smile. Not even the lyrics, just the music. :]

So it's not mind-blowing. That's not necessarily a bad thing.

He has a good feel to him If you don't like him then go get more detailed music. This was made for and by people who like it simple. I happen to like the nice steady soft drum.

After listening to several songs I'm not that impressed with Matt Pond PA. He sounds rather generic for an Indie band. Take this song for example. The violin work was a good start but the drums totally diminish it. He should have added some better drumming and layered it with some base guitar. It might have been passable if his vocals were more unique.

I love matt pond cause its what i listen to with my poppop and he is the only man im really close too i mean my dad im not going to tell you bout my life cause hes that bad and well leave it at that but anyway my poppop is my best friend, my heart , and my life. i love him more then anything! The only problem with hearing them live is that you can't hear the cello as well, but the lead singer has this fucked up and awesome sense of humor. They are the only band who, when I bought their CD at their concert, I thought was actually better during their shows than on their CD. You gotta see them dude
