What's the symbols on the right mean? The armor and gun with a slash through it. I've not been able to figure that out yet..

It means, that the weapon is broken and has decreased effectiveness. The weapon can get stuck, while shooting. Also the armor symbol. if the symbol appears, your armor is less effective and can be destroyed totally.

@Zeeeeeek Thanks. Is it just me, or does the LR300 degrade REALLY fast? I can only put about 3 magazines through it before it degrades to a yellow bar.

I only have the first Stalker game which im downloading now, does it have poltergeists and are they freindly? because as creepy as Stalker looks, id love to have a ghost watching my back / lighting the way

There are Poltergeists in the first Stalker, but they dont help you, lol.

POLTERGEISTS!! I have seen some comments below that are describing how to kil the poltergeists. Its easy. so:

1- at 0:55 its NOT a poltergeist, but electro-anomaly.It cannot be killed.

2- the poltergeists CANT see you if you dont move. they cant see.they cant smell. they only SENSE your moves. if u dont move, they wont see you.

3- it WONT help you to shoot the objects flying at you by the poltergeists. maybe they break, but in most cases it wont help.

4- if you want to kill burer use knife!

x8-Labs is strange because it's a damn maze and there are burers everywhere. Protip: Knifing a burer ro death is the easiest way to kill it.

what really freaks me out about call of pripyat is definitly the poltergeists :D the first time i played the game i decided to go to the iron forest anomaly when suddently i get boxes and stuff thrown in the face! i allmost shat my pants :D
