Good video- interesting perspective. We always know the drivers names, but rarely if ever do we know the spectators. I should know, I have been all 3- racer, worker and spectator.
hey, good video! i think its Ricky Rudds car that crushed Mike Rich (and that made Nascar to introduce pit road speed limits).... keep up the good work!
the crash in Tenn. was Troy Kritchley in an ill advised burnout on a rural street in a 4,000hp pro mod. I believe he went to jail over it as a few people were killed. it was just as much the promoters fault of the event as well as it was supposedly an annual event/car show. a car that's capable of going 230mph in 6sec flat shouldn't be doing 20-30mph burnouts on a street. tragic.
Its amazing how many places around the globe have little if any safety pre-cautions in place. Like races where spectators stand at the edge of the roadway as race cars pass by within feet.
I remember that in a sport magazine from the late 70's I saw the pictures from a freak accident involving a TV camera man who died after being hit for a big chunk of a monoblock that came from a wrecked dragster. The TV man was operating a big TV studio camera from a 15 ft. stand.
@redbull69cl This is a tribute to spectators, officials, and pit crew members who've passed on. I have a seperate tribute series for drivers. (I can't use Ayrton's crash, anyway. F1 Management blocks any video that has it.)
If these things didn't happen when and how they did, we probably wouldn't have the safety procautions we have today like you said. It's terrible that these things happen but sometimes, it may be smarter to stand further back and enjoy the race then to stand 3 feet from the track
@DriftTheApex I think you should make a 3rd part. I'm having trouble finding more clips to use and if you can find enough to use, then go for it. Not to mention I have other projects I need to work on.
At least put the videos in order im flippin confused

Nice tribute. These people don't often get a mention.

RIP to all of them. You can probably make a part 3 (or I could), as I can name a few others and I know where to find them.
