  • Let me just say that when I approached this remix, Arthur wanted it to be exactly like "Bonesbreaks". You could look up Bonesbreaks on Youtube. They were raw as F**k. I knew I was working with Robert Owens vocals. I didn't want it to sound like Chicago. So I looped "Brother Amen". I layered an 808 on top. And through a couple other bits in. The 808 doing 4/4 straight makes it sound really old. But it is 20 years old.

  • @frankiebones01 Well you certainly done a top job on this one Frankie, this is and always has been for me and many others THE mix of this track. Total respect and appreciation for the sound you and Musto produced. LEGENDARY.

By the way thanks for being cool about this posting, and taking time out to add info.

  • @dannym64 - oh fa'sure. I'm just glad that you used the actual 12" release and not the later re-released Bootleg on City Limits.

  • @frankiebones01 You are GOD! LOL!!! Thank you for all those beats / tracks & memories :)))

  • top top track

  • YES. This one! Classic original is classic original and will always be, but THIS mix... this is burned into my memories forever.

  • @DeepGarageHead totally heavy track man but theres something proper deep and soulful going on with the R.Owen vocals... played it to a mate who's into hip-hop/oldskool jungle and he reckoned it was wack... I think this was one of the first "rave" tracks from the 89-era with the amenloop?

  • @DeepGarageHead fantasy fm?
