I found this battle to be quite easy in fact. All I really did was bring 50 of each Light and Dark spells, and held down the L1 button so the party members would follow me.

@yele009 Basically, for a "Favorite" comment you get from your friends or just a regular comment in battle such as "Healing!" or "Great job" increases the Morale. When the bar is full, you can initiate an Awakening. (Beast, Demon (my favorite), Divine (vol2), and Avatar (vol3).).

@sparkaura the game stays interesting do to the level of customization in the game and in the game you can log out wich will take you to a dash board kinda like a computer.there you can play a card game, manage ur messages, and look a pictures and read forums. the game is a hack and slash rpg.personaly dot hack gu vol.3 is my favorite game ive ever played because its even better than the game above

dont use divine unless its for breaking its sheilds if you dont use divine use beast when sheilds r broken

When I went in to do this fight, I did something very very stupid. I had done the previous boss fight, and between all the levelling and prep I did before it, I clocked in at 40 mins.

Then I went to this fight, after playing around in the main menu for a little break.

Went in with no party.

Ended up with a setup like your Haseo, but I solo'd it.

Wasted an hour, but I did it. Thanks for the vid, brings back the good times.

This boss monster is so easy to kill. It takes less time to beat the crap out of it by using beast awakening at the time you can strike the core and then just having everyone just unload all they're most powerful attacks. I'd have to say this vid is unnecessarily long. Then again not everyone takes down the same monster with the same tactics

I fought this guy with a pretty weak team (Haseo lv. 100 (all doppel wpns)/Atoli lv. 93(noble+3)/Silabus lv. 95(rivet+2)) and boy did I barely survive, the only thing that's keeping my team alive was the revive spell I slapped on Haseo, and I ran out of my fairy drops, the reason I used a fairly weak team was because I thought I was a bit overleveled after The One Sin fight, so I had to go ahead and get my ass nearly kicked to kingdom come...

I didn't develop a good strategy quickly. What I SHOULD have done from the beginning was use a divine awakening when his shield was up to bring it down, then attack his core. OR, probably an even faster way to do it is to just use a beast awakening when his shield is down.

I dunno, I didn't have a good strategy at all.
