  • Very nice my friends. good look

  • Her in Chile a man learned how make it with just a handsaw !!!

Search for Luis "Kiko" Anacona, región de Arica.(Parte 1)

  • @timbachile I'd be able to construct this with a hand saw, secret is to keep the saw very sharp and, keep a kerf in the blade. Using hand tools is a matter of practice. What you learn more than anything is the importance of using back cuts or, under cuts. If done by hand MUCH smoothing plane would also be required. If done by hand it would take I'm estimating at least eighty hours to make the shell.

  • My winter project, thanks for the info !

  • I found this video to be very educational, and will try to duplicate the technique.I have a few methods of my own that turned out successfully, wood fiberglass and wood and fiberglass combinations. all of my tuning lugs were modified from simple things that I bought from home depot. which goes to show that there is more than one way to skin a cat!

  • Oh sensacional

  • La musica es hermosa the music is so beautiful.

  • NESTOR LOPEZ CALL 1-512-452-6354

  • minute 1:14 ..... As this tool is called fixing the wood?

  • That's right tone26 the whole way of constructing the drum, including the hardware is a Cuban invention, even the way cubans play them is different in many ways to the way africans or anybody else play them, taking the playing of these drums to unprecedented levels. As a consequence, they are now accepted all over the world as a musical instrument as much as a drum kit is. Whereas before they were only seen as an uncivilized or uncultured instrument.

  • sabbroson el ritmo del fondo

  • that´s very good!!

  • ooooh!!! que hermoso!!!, me gustaria saber donde es ese lugar para comprar unos cuantos pares.

  • Wow! Not a mention of its country of origin, Cuba. This whole process and the tunning system was created in Cuba and is what makes it a tumbadora or "conga" like the rest of the world calls it.

  • @tone26 Dont forget that the Bongo is Cuban too
