@5236987 It's a Baglama (more specifically a Cura - a baglama is one octave lower).
My girlfriend bought it for me while travelling in Turkey, you got the part right. Super fun to strum around on!

in that space walk around 2:45 what was that weird thing you did with your hand. looked like a non-rolling handroll if that makes sense... :P

@freak4351 I call it a 'slide-roll', once you push your hand into the string to start a normal handroll you kind of slide your hand down the string towards the ken instead. The ken/tama should do one less rotation then they do with a normal hand roll.
