Not in GTA2 but you can in 1, 4, vice city and san andreas. I don't know about 3 though.

GTA 2 is better than GTA 3. The only decent thing about GTA 3 if this even counts is that GTA 3 was 3d. Seriously tell me one thign better about GTA3 and I will counter it.

um...gta3 had a better story, voice acting, cinematic cut scenes better car handling, better graphics, better audio, better and more music. uhhhhh. yea, and about 100 other things man.

In overall, GTA 3 is much better than GTA 2, but GTA 2 is better than GTA 3 in certain aspects. GTA 2 had the respectmeter, there were bonus levels, you could crush cars to earn pickups, Anywhere City is bigger than Liberty City (I think) and, although the storyline is worse, GTA 2 gangs are better than GTA 3 gangs (at least for me). But all those things you have said are true.

@GTAmissions for its time, GTA 3 was nothing special. GTA 2 had way better music, funkier cars, cool and simple missions. GTA 3 had no acting lol. Car handling wise its like compareing cats to tomatoes. 1 is 2d the other is 3d.

First proper 3d GTA was SA. IV was even better. on my list: IV , SA , II, VC, I , III
