This was absolutely the best train film I've seen to date. The weather was perfect for bringing out the beautiful steam and the opening shot was masterfully done. It was like an awakening dragon as it groaned and moaned in the fog. Wow! It was breath-taking! Thank you for posting this for our enjoyment.

@Thequerdenker Das war schon gegen Mittag, aber der Nebel lag noch wie am Morgen dort. Der Bahnhof Triberg bekommt selten Licht im Winter ab. ;) Aber früh los musste ich trotzdem, die Lok wartet ja nicht! :)

Minute 11:40. das Haus im Hintergrund ist eine Beleidung für die Augen. ;-)

Was soll ich noch sagen, was andere noch nicht gesagt haben. Beeindruckend schön fand ich die Detailaufnahmen, die Weitwinkelextremeinstellungen, die Verschmelzung von Nebel und Lokomotivdampf, die Gegenlichteinstellungen. Und in 15:10 wird das grässlich, grüne Haus gottseidank schnell durch den ausfahrenden Zug verdeckt. :-)

Ein Film, der das Eisenbahnvirus nährt. Danke
