tnat engine sucks, ppl run it on quadcores whatever, insane graphic cards and 1kw powersupply to get 1 Frame per 5 seconds when a bomb explodes.

@skull1death engine is good but optimalisation of some stuff is weak IMO, but good gameplay, free editor and mods outweight this with no prob I guess :) It just piss me up seeing vids made on great HW with poor FPS:) Peace

When you have 60FPS and use fraps, u still get 30FPS and its ok, When you have 20-30 fps W/O fraps, than yoou get vid like this one. That engine sucks in optimalization big time, and Im a Czech so...

Thats due to the massive amount of objects destroyed, calculation of damage takes a long time, since even trees and small details get involved in the damage calculation. A computer should run this game at a steady framerate usually otherwise.

@st82nd actually one time i saw a show about explosions, showing all about them. they used the bomb on hiroshima as an example, they showed in a video how first it sucked everything, just for like 3 secs, it was barely noticeable, but then, the huge wave of dust rushed outside and all the buildings etc flown outside rather than suck into the inside. it isnt vaccum u know :P

nuclear bombs actually explodes 1mile above ground because if the nuke lands then explodes the ground will absord most of the shock therefore making the nuke less efficient
