If you keep moving along mars you will see a line connected to the box shape and you can see more of those box shaped things. I think it's a technique for them to properly link the pictures up or something.
If you could provide the Mars longitude/latitude coordinates, that would go a long way to increase your credibility. In any case, this is most probably:
1- Not an image from Mars
2- Assuming it's Mars, it's most probably an image from an orbiter given the angle. No orbiter sent to Mars to this day have the resolution to resolve a feature this small (a couple feet across) with such clarity and precision.

These are nothing more than markers on the 3D wire-frame used to assemble the Google Mars maps, they do not appear in the original source photographs, this is just got 44°59'33.72"N, 23°37'42.02"E and then south of there 44°59'3.33"N, 23°37'45.58"E you will see these markers were simply just not covered correctly when they were laying out the map images.

Garbage!!! If Half of you people out there would take a look at the global map layers half the stuff you believe would make more sense. Try the MDIM 2.1 Image Map Layer......it is not in STUNNING COLOR but it is of higher quality and gives a more accurate visual of what the surface actually looks like. There are also Infrarad layers, these are both thermal emission imaging systems that are able to pick up heat signatures of objects (Lifeforms, Surface material,...etc). Give it another look.

these are no entrances - when you explore google mars , you will see it is just an overlay of 2 pictures - you will find on this picture line many "entrances" - so, imho....no entrances, sorry :)

These are nothing more than markers on the 3D wire-frame used to assemble the Google Mars maps, they do not appear in the original source photographs, this is just got 44°59'33.72"N, 23°37'42.02"E and then south of there 44°59'3.33"N, 23°37'45.58"E you will see these markers were simply just not covered correctly when they were laying out the map images.

I think there is still life on mars, It could have had some apocalypse long ago and the survivors built underground cities, like in Fallout 3. Even if there isn't, there definitely had to be life, there is proof of it.

there are SEVERAL OF THEM !!!! ...4 or 5 are very distinct...many more not so much...they follow along the 'seam' ( where you notice the difference in color )
SO, are they part of the 'synchronizing' of the photos, or are they real ???

What you are seeing is NOT an entryway at all. I see why you'd think that. If you look carefully, it is lined with the image seam that was laid on that google mars globe. It must be an error, a miss, or something. Here is the same area in Mars Odyssey Image.

Nothing strange here, sorry to burst you alien hunters bubble, but that's just an artifact on the edge of pictures to align them correctly. If you'd made a larger shot, you'd seen that there are other of these on the line between 2 pictures of the surface...
There's another at 45°42'38.56"N, 23°33'32.85"E and another at 45° 0'28.62"N, 23°37'24.46"E, they are exactly on the junction between shots.

I also believe that there is a good chance that life on Mars has existed or exists nowadays, but not to the point to believe every thing on YouTube. BTW, these photos comes from the NASA, and I don't see them "forgetting" to photoshop an image before release if they REALLY wanted to hide something to us.
That said, I don't believe that they hide something neither, to conspirational, to big.

@Acrimonator I believe you are correct, since these maps are mosaics of many photos. This is clearly a seam line. I have found some strange structures, so it is good to look carefully. One crater looked like it had an eye, I wish I marked it so I can find it again.

Come on, they aren't that stupid or blind, if they don't want us to see anything, we won't see anything, why releasing any doubtful shot though.
And that's not by playing with level curves on a overexposed shot that you'll make a point.

it not so clearly looks like some kind of three sided something that could be buried or resting on the surface. the coloration is diff fron the area surrounding the "object", it does seem to have strait edges which is unusual but not unknown. SO..... it is an entrance to an underground city... ya thats my story and i'm sticking to it...lol

Garbage!!! If Half of you people out there would take a look at the global map layers half the stuff you believe would make more sense. Try the MDIM 2.1 Image Map Layer......it is not in STUNNING COLOR but it is of higher quality and gives a more accurate visual of what the surface actually looks like. There are also Infrarad layers, these are both thermal emission imaging systems that are able to pick up heat signatures of objects (Lifeforms, Surface material,...etc). Give it another look.
