  • I shot this story for Wash. DC PM Magizine in 1979. Henry was great to work with. We traveled to a lot of exotic places with the PM crew. Funny, Warner talked about returning to DC towards the end of the piece and his wish came true. He returned to Ch 9 in the early 90s but only stayed a couple of years. They wanted to change his style and he told them to stuff it! I had met him for the first time that day in NY but I was the ch9 sports editor when he came back and loved working with him.

  • Oh the nostalga. I remember when Warner Wolf was on Eyewitness News and when he left for channel 2 (WCBS). Spencer Christian, the weatherman he used to make fun of, took his place as the sports reporter in Eyewitness News.

  • Henry Tenenbaum How long was he in DC Before coming to KRON in San Francisco in the 1990's I heard of Wolf from WCBS in the 1990's.

  • He was at Channel 9 for around 10 years, first as a feature reporter, then the PM host.

  • Henry Tenenbaum has been the Gardening expert on KRON4 for 15 years.

  • "Let's Go to the Videotape!!!"

  • good clip..."warner wolf's Plays of the decade" back in 1989

  • Notice that by this point, WABC-TV began using Ikegami HK-312C cameras, as replacement for the ol' reliable Norelco PC-70's the station used for years.
