Aye, but surely its a great way to practice, train and learn new skills? Take a modest ice climber - Grade III, give them a session and watch their performance out doors - huge improvement. No different to indoor rock walls.
Fantastic place. Took an intro course, instructors really friendly and patient! Would go back again.

Climbing indoors seems silly. Being outdoors in the elements are part of the experience. Besides, outdoors it's free.
