Whne you select the lasso tool there are four box-like icons below the menu bar. The lasso tool is automatically selected on the first box. Click on the second icon where there are two gray boxes overlapping. Then you should be able to select more than one area at the same time.
I have a question: I know you use the polygonal lasso tool to select what you don't want to be ruined but after you select, what is it you do to erase the mess? xD I don't know if I make myself clear? Also, how did you erase the blushing lines? Thank you!

The layers below it are on normal.

You erase with the eraser tool. To erase the blushing lines, you can use the eraser tool or color it over in white
