Thanks for posting this video, and thanks to koopakid10 for the solution... downloading the most recent version of VBA fixed the problem. Hopefully, it will fix all the audio glitches I was having, as well (Channel 4 was usually static, and Channel 2 tended to stick on one sound, especially after battles).

You press a direction on the D-Pad when you're getting your passport pictures taken. If you didn't do this at the beginning of the game, there's a guy with a camera in Castle Town that will retake your picture for 100 coins (50 if you refuse to pay 100).

I have a similar problem where my Bro Attack would Advance during the boss fight with the statues, and then the game will get stuck after that. No actual freezing, just that neither my characters nor the boss will take a turn.

is video graphics slow or you walk the wrong way.

because when I played it on my coputer it didnt made a gluich in my game. maybe you have to chang the graphics or walk down and up. thats all I can say

Okay. I've tried pressing forward during shooting, but that won't work. Also, I've already tried different roms, which present me with the same problem. I haven't tried reducing the frameskip though. I'll see if it helps...
