one of my favorite songs of the Carpenters and by far, in my opinion the best cover there is. i' ve listened to other covers but the Carpenters version outshines them all. Richard's arrangement and couple that with Karen's angelic voice, the result fantastic interpretation of a beautiful song. and to think that she' drumming makes it more amazing to listen and watch. kudos to the brother and sister team.RIP Karen. we miss you but you'll always be in our hearts.
My apologies to all of you, because the original file was in stereo, had a much better quality, and wasn't as out of sync as this one is.
Richard, if you are watching this in the future from now, please don't get angry at me for uploading this. I just wish to share your wonderful arranging and music with the public. This is really one of my favorites.
It makes it feel like your at a concert - Way back when - but it just feels great. I miss her every day. What a difference she & Rich made in music. Have a great day!
...and, the best part is, now you can set this video's quality as high quality. Just press the brown TV by the amount of views, and change it. It's so much better.
Yeah, it's from "Make Your Own Kind of Music". All of it. In fact, the story behind this video is really weird. You see the "CARPENTERS" animation thing at the beginning? It was also from "MYOKOM", but it didn't originally precede the video. It was instead the "KAREN" animation (see "Hideaway"). I love this video; one of my favorites.
My God! I never stop fascinating myself when I see This woman playing drums and singing so adorable all the same time..She definitely had a gift...thanks for sharing!

I wish I could climb into this video, rush the stage, and plant a big kiss on Karen's face.

Karen looks so happy here behind her drums. She is smiling and having a good time.

She was so talented and BEAUTIFUL! I am so sad that I'll never be able to meet her. I've loved Carpenters all my life! Great music!

I had no idea this was out there. Karen is amazing. I just love her work. Her voice was truly an instrument.

BestKacFan, I was amazed at your "large screen" suggestion, because I had just done that yesterday!
