Very true, Chanel creates amazing couture pieces. However, I feel that Dior's couture collections take more risks with experimental silhouettes and looks - which can easily be toned down into more wear-able looks. Not necessarily toned down for their pret-a-porter look but if you look past the more extravagant looks and take the armor and belts off - there were a lot of beautiful evening dresses....

What is Fashion for if not so? Couture is mean't for editorial sake, Accessories sales, Perfume and cosmetic sales and overall for house recognition. Also models would do Dior Couture for free. Dior makes the Fantasy seem real.
