There is no one, and I repeat there is no one, nor has there ever been nor there will ever be any one like Wadee3 Alsafi. He is truly a Lebanese National Treasure. I have had the privelage of meeting him twice and listened to him sing without a microphone or instruments (except his oud)..what a voice!.Purity, Strength, Beauty, are only few out of endless words to try to describe his voice. And what a nice human being he is too...very humble and respectful of others.A true artist! God Bless him
@Georgeinms there is no one, and I repeat there is no one, nor has there ever been nor there will ever be any one that I will ever ever agree with your statment about our National Treasure.I have the privelage not only to only agree with your statement, but to add my respect in knowing about our Lebanese National Treasure Wadee3 Alsafi. You have my full respect and thank you for your true comment. From a Lebanese man who migrated to U.S.A since I was Ten years old.

From what I have read, this was his very first song, debuted in 1940.
Wadi Safi is Mr. Lebanon. Nobody can take that away from him.
