so all your videos have totally conformed to my style of thinking, especially this one. i looked at this video because my mom (being totally orthodox asian) CONSTANTLY gets on me about how i stand and how i need to quit eating and start doing excersise cause no one will want to marry me. Its kinda funny because im not overweight, and im perfectly healthy, i guess some people are just so obsessed with the idea of physical perfection that they still feel obligated to criticize their own children.
@Pers13 -Ur mom is trying 2 change u into something that she believes will end up 'not becoming her.' Ur mom feels shit about herself & has given up on herself, so she wants 'her daughter' 2 be able 2 experience 'what she believes she would need' 2 'be happy.' -But u see it as ur mom 'telling u to feel shit about urself', so u become angry & blame her for ur experience. That anger towards ur mom's 'problems' indicates that u r actually becoming her. I experience the same w/ my dad
yes - change the value system of life and we will allow ourselves to change what we allow within ourselves as the current deceptive values. All of these 'fake values' are designed and sold in the current money system. Andrea
Ha, I've had the same phone since I was a freshman in highschool. Soooo... 4 years.
As for keeping my health in check, I exercise for myself. I don't care about how other people see me, I just know that, when I'm exercising and am in the best shape I can be, I feel better and happier.
@ToboeOkamiKiba-- The ideal of physical perfection tends to lack adequate consideration of who we are, so quite the unhealthy form of self-neglect, at the least. I dare you to stop all exercising and see who you become. Check for thoughts of fear, points where fear of loss come up within the consideration of, say, not working out for a year. For me, I would go into points where I would suddenly be afraid of being fat-- revealing that I actually lied to myself about 'not caring what others think'
How that's relevant to what you're saying is that, well coming from someone who has struggled with eating-disorders.. When celebrities are looked upon as... these 'gods'... and right now i'm really wanting to say something along the lines as.. "thank god i got out of that 'scene'" it's irrelevant and I forgive myself for thinking that any of my issues are derived from something outside myself... back to the point.. it's really sad that we live in a society where people are making money off of
I was at the store the other day and found humor how one magazine brought up "special work outs for you're body" and then the one next to it talks about some random celebrity being "95 pounds".. it seems as if people dilute themselves into thinking dry-heaving in the bathroom could be glamourous..
