Make sure that if you have not read Jerry's book "Dean and Me: A Love Story" that you do. It is fantastic to get inside Jerry's mind and learn hoe he felt about Dean all through his life.
This opening scene is mixed with stock footage of Martin & Lewis hanging out the hotel window..greeting their fans..who are standing on the street, cheering them on.
In this movie I'd so much hated Joe Anthony... lol the way he treated HArvey... but this song and That's Amore are my favorites parts! ^^ and what does Jerry saying at 4:04 ?? I can't understand!... :(
I absolutely agree! This is one of my favorites, but the whole generation produced the best movies ever made. I would rather watch Carey Grant than Tom Cruise ANY day!
I like watching the old movies because it was back when the actors really worked hard. Nowadays actors complain they are tired when they do two or three movies a year or thirteen episodes of a television show. Martin and Lewis did the radio show, television show, movies and nightclubs. And that was back when they would do forty episodes of a televison show.
Would be this song a prophecy? Some years later, they would be asking that question. The audiences would be asking that question. In this movie, however, it seems that this day would never come. That´s why I love "The Caddy".

Everything Dean and Jerry do is amazing but their little british conversation before they went onto stage was so funny I just had to replay it.

These opening scenes are a recreation of Martin & Lewis' personal appearances at NYC's"Paramount Theater".

I love this movie, pure comedy,no profanity. They just don't make em this good anymore. My generation has lost the plot.

@luciengrey24 Fear not. I'm gonna bring decent comedy back someday. I hope you'll recognise it when it comes.
