Im a rancher west of dfw. I doesn't do any one any good to harass surveyors. just ask them whats up and Be Polite. If they cant tell you call their office. Don't provoke an old man with a machete.
your lucky you didn't point that camera at me. we are out there doing our jobs don't fuck with us it's not our fault that the local gvnmnt is extending their right of way and we have every right to trespass on any property as long as we are un-armed.
As a surveyor we has Federal rights, State right, City right and Country right etc. to find and verrify boundrys of land and such.
We the field crews are sent out to do this job by our boses, who are hired by other land owners to determine boundry lines..many times land owners move property corners..but they don't realize there are world wide corrd,. that we follow to set these or check these points. WE are just doing our jobs. Don't even threaten or herrass us.
The cops and the courts will side with the surveyors. The court will have no problem issuing a restraining order against you, and the police will have no problem escorting them on to your property if need be. Just let them do there job.
Giving the surveyors a hard time doesn't solve a thing. The camera guy was clearly trying to provoke and harass some guys just doing their job. And there was no threatening gesture that I saw with the machete or whatever that was, near the end of the video.
Under vernon civil statute, the surveyors involved had the right to press charges against you with the attorney general and get a benchwarrant to survey. And then when you screwed with them, they could have you held for contempt of court and thrown in jail. Don't screw with the surveyors, they are just doing their job. They do not have to talk to you- and frankly do not want to talk to you- they are just trying to perform the survey they were commissioned to perform.
an idiot looking for trouble just because he has a camera, whoa! tough guy, what a wimp, ask them to leave your property, obviously they are surveying in a right of way so you do not have the power or the balls to tell them to get off your property. get a real life moron!
Why do you need to know where that man lives? How is that any of your damn business to attempt to expose personal information about someone and broadcast it? I think that your organic cotton panties are in a wad and you are making a huge deal over nothing SHAMEONTHETREEHUGGER!!!
because Texas has a right to entry law! Under said law, a surveyor has the right to enter his property in the purpose of a survey. SHECO has an easement and whether he likes it or not, that allows the surveyor to come across his property. They do not have to talk to him, they do not have to allow themselves to be video'ed by him.
my comment was criticizing the guy with the camera, who's going around poking his nose in everyones buisness. hence, my comment. he didn't need to know where he lived, and, they were not on his property, therefore: he did not kick them off. learn to read before you explain shit to me i already know.
learn to read yourself before you decide that I was replying to you. See, there is a button up there to reply to your stupid self. I learned to read, that is why I can click the button.
Bring that camera to the hills of Tennessee! hahaha I have dicks like this guy all the time in the hills here. Id stick my brush ax up your ass LOL
