At least you could get your machine to boot up! I once tried vista, and within two weeks my system would crash every start up with a BSOD about how the login process terminated unexpectedly! I never used vista again.

I dislike Windows Vista for that exact reason. I get blue screens all the time, usually when I'm right in the middle of something important.

so then how dose that make it a vista problem? its an Nvidia problem. Or some other driver which is not reasponding properly. What dose the blue screen say? it tells you whats usualy wrong.

ahhh ok i have a comp that says that "unmountable boot volume" i even changed the hard drivew 3 weeks later same thing im guessing its something to do with the power frying the hard drives. :-(
