Bardzo ładnie zrobiony clip, zilustrowany baśniową muzyką Pat'a. Ilekroć słucham jego muzyki, zastanawiam się, skąd bierze się u niego ta niezwykła ilośc pomysłów na wzruszającą i zawsze czułą muzykę. On naprawdę kocha życie i jest kochanym. "Ponadto" jest genialnym kompozytorem i wykonawcą.

I did have the chance to have met him once, when I was 13 years old. I asked him for his autograph at the Kansas City Jazz Festival in April of 1968, just a few months before he died. .."
I like how he has the balls to just play music that is also beautiful. Not like most jazz musicians who only think they're just allowed to play complex. Can take complex and shove it if it doesn't sound musical as far as I'm concerned. This is why Metheny is still on my shelf and others have fallen by the way side.
@0932486509 excellent comment! I've been trying to tell younger musicians for years not to get caught up in just playing with speed...whatever the instrument. A melodic approach, along with dynamics, is what has staying power.
@joebean14 Jazz has become synonymous with subjectivism which has become a crutch or a lousy excuse for musicians to suck and tell their audiences that, "it's your fault for not understanding my music." All I have to say to such people is that if you want to be understood, then it's your job to make yourself intelligible. Goes for anything else in life as well. Anything that doesn't sound appealing in music equates to vomit.
Though I've written songs during my life, I have recently begun to complete the work God put into my spirit...there are days, however difficult they may be, when all I need for inspiration is Pat. Sometimes Rachmaninoff and Tchaikovsky, but...it's usually Pat. Thank you for posting this...now, I must write more. Merci au fond de ma coeur.

@joebean14 Jazz has become synonymous with subjectivism which has become a crutch or a lousy excuse for musicians to suck and tell their audiences that, "it's your fault for not understanding my music." All I have to say to such people is that if you want to be understood, then it's your job to make yourself intelligible. Goes for anything else in life as well. Anything that doesn't sound appealing in music equates to vomit.

Though I've written songs during my life, I have recently begun to complete the work God put into my spirit...there are days, however difficult they may be, when all I need for inspiration is Pat. Sometimes Rachmaninoff and Tchaikovsky, but...it's usually Pat. Thank you for posting this...now, I must write more. Merci au fond de ma coeur.
