  • smb2 for the famicon is more fun

  • Skills. Skills!! Nice. I perform speedruns on SMB the lost levels too and I have complete the game multiple times but that was a nice speedrun you done.

  • wow, if this was Japans Super Mario 2 they must have been absolutely blown away by Super Mario 3!

  • @BazukaT Who wasn't?

  • where can i get a copy of this and how much does it go for? i looked all over ebay for it and no luck.

  • FAKE look at the time

  • The time in Mario games isn't in seconds. The NES couldn't keep steady time. To fake it I'd have to record the music and sound effects separately and combine them later to line up without being sped up. Plus, I die at the end. Lol.

  • One thing about the All-Stars version I always noticed is on the Game Selection screen Mario So Called Lost Levels Box was a different shape. Later on it all made sence.

  • Lol I remember playing this when I was 5. Snes was my first game system :D

I could never get passed this level (damn being young at the time of a great game!)

  • I have say i'm glad Nintendo did what it did concerning Super Mario bros. release in the U.S. and not because the real one was too hard I'm glad we got a Marioifed Doki Doki Panic because it brought the characters(well eneimes) to the Mario universe, I mean imaginie the Yoshi's Island series without Shy Guys and Bombette and bobbery wouldn't have ever existed had it not been for Nintendo making the move that they did, well I just have to say its hard to imagine Mario without those characters

  • If anybody wants the rom of the REAL Super Mario Bros 2 (Japan), message me. I finally found a working rom, after days of searching. It's the Famicom disk version.

  • dude you have to have to origianl nes version

  • i would very much like to try the original Super Mario Bros. 2

  • i dont get it how ppl cant find it....i did a google search and i found it right away...

  • @AdzTurner cool can you dend it to me :D

  • It took me forever to get past level 6-2 (water one) you have skill

  • dang this game looks super hard..

  • I was stuck on 6-4 for the longest time, it's hard to figure out ...

Thank you thank you thank you!

  • I too!

  • where can you download smb2j?

  • Wii Virtual Console.

  • you mind telling me just how do you do this? Once you have this Wii, must you connect it to the itnernet to purchase this game? advise

  • dont, get the original system and play it...its the best and only true way. I don't understand people. Downloading games, playing them on a computer, ridiculous. Yay i bought original mario with my wii points pfftttt the only way to full enjoy this is originally the system. You know little glitches and tricks you can perform on the cartridge cant be done on a download because they fix this type of thing.

  • I believe all Virtual Console games are exact ports of the original game files. The code doesn't exist the modify some of them. But either way, this game doesn't exist on an NES cartridge, only Famicom. So unless you want to import a Japanese system, VC is the only way to go.

  • @altoidyoda And even though peripherals of the Famicom, named Famiclones, are common these days, the thing that isn't common any more is the original Famicom Disk System Game Disk of Super Mario Bros. the lost levels. Believe me, the only easy way to experience the game is to download it off Wii's Virtual Console OR download it on a computer and then download an emulator for the rom and then play it but really, the best way to go is definitely Virtual Console. I agree with you, altoidyoda.

  • I have this old game and man, was it fun. I remember beating it was such an accomplishment. I have the original NES and the SNES. What a revolutionary gaming console.

  • I agree.

  • @gopits Why does everybody say the 'j' after SMB2? What does it mean?

  • Comment removed

  • @21luigiigiul12 In the United States, SMB2 is a different game (a slightly modified version of Doki Doki Panic, later released in Japan as Super Mario USA). People say the j (for Japan) to differentiate this game from the Lost Levels, which is the western name for the Japanese Super Mario Bros. 2.

  • @gopits

    on gry-pegasus.xaa.pl

"Super Mario Bross. 2 Lost Levels" this is it !

  • These levels aren't too hard once you get used to them, but they can frustrate so much XD

I know I rushed through the first half of the game, and I got to world 6 one time. Those levels are kind of easy compared to some, the castle was hard though. Good Job :)

Next time try it as Luigi, Mario is too easy to play as.

  • Um its called super mario brothers 2 in japan

In the US, its super mario brothers the lost levels...

Our version of super mario brothers 2 is called super mario USA in Japan

  • yeah, our SMB2 was a game created for (probably) the arabic part of the world in about 1987 called "Doki Doki Panic". It only slightly differs from SMB2/USA. The enemies/music are entirely identical

  • The sound is not synched.

  • if someone thinks this game is easy, they are obviously absolutly pro, or has never played Lost Levels (super mario bros 2 in japan)

  • This levels are not that hard..

  • The whole game is ridiculously hard...

I just make it LOOK easy.

  • I've play it, it's not that hard!!

  • Why was this uploaded?

  • Because I'm awesome.

  • more like gay

  • Damn yo! You're cold bro....... you're cold.

  • my bad bro its actually pretty cool it just always took me days to beat

  • OWNED!!! 3:48

  • Just barely, I didn't even touch the fire.

  • Lol, did someone go through and rate every comment with a thumbs down?

  • no dog...just bad comments

  • hardest and best mario game ever

  • damn....

  • LAG

  • That's YouTube for ya.

  • Believe it or not, I actually beat this game in the All-Stars version.

  • Me too!! ^_~
