The only thing I hate about infected mode is when you go back to the psp home menu you  change back to infected mode.

no you get the magnum when you collect all intel if you go the the main menu and click on intel you will see how many you have and you collect everything in the catigories you get plasma longbow grenade luncher and magnum

do u get to keep the magnum even if u disconnect from R2 and same with the plasma grenades???

Do you have to be in infected mode to have that pistol weapon?

The one with the explosive round? Yes, I believe you do. R2 unlocks it.

its in the manual: Connecting Resistance Retribution and R2 would unlock infected mode and wherein you can unlock all the weapons and intel

no you dont just get all the intel it gives you that and 3 other guns. there awsome

No. Infected Mode ends when you quite the game. When I put my PSP in sleep mode and turn it back on I'm still able to play Resistance Retribution in Infected Mode.

Does the infected version change the storyline? Is there a big difference or just some lines? Please don't spoil anything though

I'm not sure, but I don't think so, I think its only when you shut off the PSP.

ok im not infected but i got magnum from getting all intel.plus im getting a ps3 in a few weeks so i can get infected.infected mode way better especially since he with SRPA now way better maquis suck so does cloven

you have to get all the intel, the orriginal, I dunno if infected goes toward the normal 67

If you infect the game you get the self heal like Nathan Hale and the black out fit. It also changes some of the dialog in the game. If you play with out infecting it, your health will not heal on its own and you have to find med kits in the levels to get health.
