  • That is so sad! They can at least put proper flooring and give them some blankets! They have hardly any space to move around! Poor puppies :'(

  • this is sick why god why?

  • @MrsFilmcreator there is no god.

  • ya when i was in there i felt so sad but u should really see Pet Smart look well its not working but look up PetSmart cruelty and watch the 1 made by sexyernie13

  • @Mrpieman4000 petsmart in NC doesn't sell dogs or cats. They just hold adoption events from local shelters. They are a good pet supply institution.

  • they soo need a toy

  • They don't even have the respect to give them a proper floor:(

  • That's horrible

  • This is sick. No food, no water, abut a sqare foot total of space for them to walk around in. Two puppies. Unbelievable. They sure as fuck can't walk on the wire. And no bed. Like everyone who is saying, "Oh, this isn't cruelty. Really? Yes it is. It's fuckign neglect.

  • This is disgusting!! Can't this pet store see what they are doing-they're no different than a puppy mill.If their little feet get caught, they could e injured. How sick to have such little space to walk. This store should be investigated for safer practises!!

  • It's the fact that the bottom of their cage, is not safe for them to walk on that this is considered cruelty by the maker of this video. Their paws can go through the holes in the wire, and hurt them. So they have very limited movement in the cage :L

  • just let u guys know that my moms friend and her group shout down petland from selling dogs anymore idk how far this has effected but in calgary AB it is in effect

  • @Penguwhisperer God Bless her. I'm in Bc. I could look up a petland near me and see if it has closed down selling puppies as well if youd like.

  • @GiJordyn idk like im not a peta member or anything but i think this is wrong so idk u can if u want but doesnt matter to me

  • @Penguwhisperer Okay. Maybe I can look it up online or something.

  • WERE IS THE FOOD BULL!!!!!!

  • COMPLAIINNN TO THE OWNERS! then they will do something... mabye

  • And if you think this is sad, then make damn sure you never take your pet on an airplane, where they have to stay in their tiny pet carriers for hours with the luggage, getting treated like luggage. They get stored away in a cold dark part of the plane, no doubt scared out of their minds.

  • They don't stay in the cage forever, only until someone buys them. I kept thinking, "when am I going to see the cruelty?" Where are they supposed to display the dogs, out in a field? Don't get me wrong, I think people should rescue a shelter cat or dog, not buy one from a store that deals with mass breeders...but saying this is "cruelty" is a bit exaggerated. The puppies are having fun playing with each other. I'm more concerned that their water/food dish appears empty.

  • I MUST BUY THEM! THE POOR THINGS ARE PROBABLY GOING TO GO INSANE! Someone please help these poor puppies.

  • Why are there no laws to protect animals from inadequate cages? We know the problem, anyone with any hart can see the cruelty in this. Why are law makers so laxed on the most innocent victims of abuse, both animals and children?

  • Poor puppies!!! The only room they have to walk around on is the green mat and the bucket! Horrible. They should be Put in a cage big enough for 10 of those!.

  • @LucretziaVampyre No problem : ) I can see where the cruelty is hard to be noted. I've just seen a lot of situations where that's happened and the animal has been injured for life from cages like that.

  • @LucretziaVampyre Theres not enough room4them 2move around on.They can go 4 steps forward & 4 steps back.Put yourself in those conditions where u have 2 live for several weeks/months only able to go 4 forward and 4 back WITH another person. It's against regulations to have openings that big in the cage in comparison to their feet.If one of them were to slip, their foot could easily get caught in the opening & break it. Putting the pups in that risk is the cruelty,as well as the insufficient space.

  • @LucretziaVampyre well, the dogs are only stepping in their bed and on the green matt thingy so....you do the thinking.

  • , took those puppies got taken out to play, or even bought. So chill out people. They don't even have the puppies there anymore.

  • They looked healthy enough to me. I'm not saying I'm with puppymills (No way am I) but, it's not like they are being abused. That little box is a whole lot better compared to what I've seen. I can think of some things a lot worse than this: I mean, they get food, shelter, and they get played with all the time. They even get their own nap time! And besides, it's temperary. I know so many people who would think those puppies are cute, and I'm sure that someone, maybe even five minutes after

  • @HowlerOfTheWolves I agree with you on this one

  • This is horrible...ppl dont realize the more you buy stuff from these stores like pet co. petsmart the more you support the cruelty and the more it goes on.Find a local breeder and local petsupply

  • Petco- healthy animals my ass

  • Let them breath people there puppies they need to play not live in a box

  • This is why petco and petsmart stopped selling puppies and kittens.

  • Who are the idiots who disliked this video????!!!!Do they like animal cruelty?????????!!!!!!!!!

  • Barbaric behaviour! Puppies should run around and chase their tales!

  • Why can't they just put them in decent cages with actual flooring?

  • Hey do you mind if i use this in a video im making about how bad petland is?

  • There are more important things in the world to worry about that this. This is completely acceptable to me.

  • @BaylorSports you are an incompetent troll.

  • @BaylorSports There are many people on this planet. If some would like to support cruelty to animals then they god damn have the right to do so.

  • Looks fine to me.

  • @BaylorSports no it does not

  • if i EVER saw this in an animal store i go to, i would say something to them. id be like "excuse WHY THE HELL DO YOU DO THAT?" theyd be like "....um well" id be like "yea exactly."

  • they need to give them beds at least

  • I dont get how hard can it be to just put a bath mat in there for them to lie on. It is vinyl it washes easily so no reason to keep them on the wire grate all day and night.

  • @nsemore1 I understand your outrage. But most animal cruelty is legal and encouraged and taught to all children, right? In fact most of the world's societies are centered around torturing animals for pleasure. Why would Petland be any different than the rest of society?

  • i just dont understand how come this places are still open for bussines everywhere... i cant believe it.

  • I have to say honestly, the pet land by my house has cleaned up their act a lot. the animals are in proper habitats now, clean, and the staff are knowledgeable beyond reading the label when they receive the animal.

  • I don't get it???

  • @Sassygurl712 the cage is way to small and the floor is wire, imagaen walking on something wirey iall day

  • petland sucks when i went there a woman was purchasing a pomeranian for her little daughter and felt like stopping her because when you buy one puppy, you make space for another to be ordered from that awful place: puppy mills. I am very happy to be a rescue mom

  • @jozithemaltipoo wat do u have to back up your information? nothing. in kansas petlands are great with happy pups who have good lives. my friend got her first dog from petland and they gave her a paper and she called the breeder and her mom made an appointemt to see her and the breeder was supstancial.

  • @pinkgalore06 actually i do have info...why don't you google petland? Then tell me why you find.

  • @pinkgalore06 most petlands in nh where shut down for animal cruelty and sickness

  • this video sucks

  • Some pet store are cruel they only give that much space for puppies.even they are pups they could at least give them bigger

  • all puppy's from pet stores are most likely from a pup mill

  • These dogs come from puppymills. Adopt your dogs

  • wow maybe cuz they are a smaller breed! ever think of that! obviously not! and plus, they r jst playing like puppies do!

  • they are too cute for that bull ****

  • .. At the petland were I bought my animals from, They had pants under there feet, and they were fed often.

  • @kayla1366 They came from a puppymill

  • one thing I noticed, where is the food and the water? That bowl looks empty to me :/ and even if it does have water well what about some food for the pups god knows how long they spend in those cages.

  • poor little guys!

  • for you people saying you worked for petland, realize it's a franchise business and claim the failure of your own damn store. not every petland fails and buys cheap flipping animals.

  • I currently work at Petland, it might've been the way before the use puppy mills and all of that. But to honestly think that we do that now? Are you fcking serious? We get them from local breeders, and these breeders go through an unbelievable walk through that meets the needs for animals before being accepted at Petland. The grids for the puppys are usually matted with smaller holes if they seem to be too big. I'm frustrated at how you people can be influenced so easily by some video.

  • @xxAjiTaroKun stop defending your store obviously these animals need to be kept in a better environment you guys need bigger cages. thats not even big enough for one dog let alone two

  • This is not a Petland cage. Go to a Petland and see for yourself. This is just a lie.

  • @ChrisPratt23 if u think tht isnt a petland cage then you havnt been to petland

  • I'm sooooooooooooo Happy that there is the petition in Calgary for no more selling of puppy's or kittens in pet stores anymore and Richmond BC has already seen a difference since the ban! THANK GOD!

  • only 1 dish! my dad got me a hammy from petland i can't believe my hamster has no problems

  • I worked for Petland they do get their puppies from puppy mills. They would come in off a truck (not local) usually with upper resp. infections. The male and female hamsters were in the same cage so people would buy them pregnant and the males would offten kill eachother. The reptiles were ignored and the fish weren't bad but overpriced. To say Petland is better than Petsmart or Petco is ridiculous. 2 Petlands have closed in my area and their is only one left. I can't wait for the day it closes!

  • lol its okay there just scared! how cute. petlands the way to go buy a pet ! warning not petco or petsmart

  • these stores are pure evil down with petland cause petland = dishonesty >=(

  • The only reason why they're kept in small cages is because they will only be there for a matter of 1 to 2 weeks. They get sold so quickly. And the atleast the petland I live near gets there puppies from breeders not puppy mills I met one of the breeders myself.

  • @mcsshelly yeah you met the breeder but did you go to their kennel? did you actually first hand see the dogs? aso 1 to 2 weeks still isnt a humane amount of time to keep a dog in such small places, are you serious? even if a dog was in such a horridly small space for a few days thats aweful.

  • thats really sad and make the parrot shut up in the back round

  • they dnt purchase them from breeders stupid they purchase them from puppy mills

  • Comment removed

  • And vegeata. Petland does not breed dogs. They purchase them from breeders...

  • @CraizedPirates they dont purchase them from breeders they buy them from puppy mills.

  • First of all the grates are there for the poop to go through. U want them to sit in there shit and urain? Second of all that is why the have the green matts. Thrid of rescue centers and human society house dogs and cats on small kennels fourth, it is not pet lands fault that they ate on a to big of a grid it is the dumb ass employees fault, they should know better than to put dogs with small paws on big grates. Fifthly just because one petland does something terrible does not mean all of them

  • @CraizedPirates at least rescue centers bring them outside....

  • Aw, this is horrible. This is why the laws for puppy care standards should be changed to prevent this from happening. Such a shame.

  • these poor dogs...I could cry!
