The rubber at the bottom of tysons beyblade is a fail, it just makes the beyblade slower.

It's a flat rubber tip on the old Dragoons, that provided good grip against the stadium, reducing stamina, but providing excellent movement speed.

The main purpose for uncustomised Dragoons was to take out the otherblade by smashing into it and relying on the rubber grip to push the other blade rather than getting pushed.
