3 of our british legends together....i was taken to a david nixon show in the early part of the 70's...i watched his shows on t.v..was bought a david nixon magic set and annual (which i still have) for xmas....and i became a magician because of this man....thanx for digging out these classics.
I agree with you: David Nixon was 'the' Magician in my eyes - not like the modern rubbish of today. I wish they'd show his Shows again on TV or issue them on DVD. Poor David; you can hear his heavy breathng in this clip due to that awful cancer that killed him... May he rest in peace.
Amazing - absolite treasure. David Nixon - I got a DN magic set when I was a kid and I got hooked oding tricks and stage stunts like this. The good old days when TV was innocent, not full of filthy language, lewdness and overpaid overpampered celebrities. And John Inman ... well, another national treasure lost.
I think I have an inkling how this trick is done!

This was a nice treat. Wish there was stuff on tv like this instead of the overabundance of reality shows, Law and Order spinoffs and CSI spinoffs.
