Converge before jane doe = Kiddieband, Jane Doe was the serious shit, there are propably one a few Albums which are that much heartfelt and intense... Jane Doe was a statement and a huge improvement, anything before Jane Doe and after Jane Doe was good or mediocore, but Jane Doe was THE MOMENT and perfect.
