  • assuming ill connect it through the only usb port on the device, how will the drives show in the computer? 2 separate discs or 1 with the total size of both disks?

  • @NNe00 It will show up as one drive on the desktop - however the capacity depends on the RAID setup you choose. With RAID 0 (Striped) as well as SPAN (Non-RAID mode) you will have the capacity of both drives added together, while on RAID 1 (Mirrored) you will have a total capacity of one drive, while the other is an exact duplicate of the first drive.
