I love Colt, but for an American made pistol that costs about $300.00 less than a Colt that gets rave reviews from everyone but this guy; you have to take notice.
@trick29420 I know it ship with one 7 round and one 8 round MAGAZINE. But he may have had a 9 round mag with one in the chamber. You don't have to use factory stuff with everything.
@HunterBeier well if someone is going to title a video as a 'test fire' I'd hope they're using stock factory Ruger parts shipped with the gun. Or else the test is compromised with third party parts. get it?
whats is hilarious....is after he shot the gun and found out that he could have paid 700 dollars for a better pistol than the 1700 for his sub par colt...
I like "pretty guns" like colts, but TBH, if you're wanting a gun to carry daily and abuse I don't see why you'd want one if something else is just as reliable for half the money.
If you want something to take to the range or have on the nightstand a home, a colt is fine.
Colts are very beautiful, namely their plain jane ones, and their Delta elite 10mm. The 1991 4.25" commander stainless is nice too. The ruger seems to be better though.
As long as he has himself convinced that his Colt is better (and not an overpriced 1911 living off of the Colt name), that's all that matters. Happiness is truly a state of mind.
COLT=double the price. Can't beat sr1911 for the price, it's a 5 out of 5 gun.

Ruger Sr1911 is my gun of choice. Also love my .357 Ruger GP100.

@trick29420 There were no clips anywhere in this video. He might have got 10 shots of because of a 9 round magazine plus 1 in the chamber though.
