Used to see the Meanies at Amigo's in Saskatoon back in my university days. Hands down the best band that never made it big. I covered Letting Time Pass and Scenic Anomaly in Calgary from 1998 through 2003 to pay homage. People always went nuts - we proudly told everyone about this killer band from Winnipeg. I call for a New Meanies Canadian tour. Bring the wives and kids, it's all good!

i got to hang out with these guys a long time ago. They were the coolest people ever. I know two people that are of the same, or bigger fame, at the time. (actually huge today) Only one is still cool. Anyway, these guys had their set delayed in Saskatoon, and still sat and beer with us. (Damon had scotch, of course) They even invited my brother and I backstage after the show! These guys are the bestNobody even mentions that the beginning of this song was stolen by Coldplay,Yellow. its obvious!!

Wow, takes me back to the last months of partying in NY before 103.7 The River was replaced by a country station in my home town. As if there weren't enough country stations to begin with.
