Obviously it was a horrible song choice! 1st sentence out of my nieces mouth after seeing him do the song he wanted to do on Ellen, was, aw man, he's sooooo super cute, .. I really enjoy Alex's voice the most of all the male contestants. However, I do understand Randy's comment about the song being sung too fast. This is a bluesy type of song that he really needed to put his "foot" in, so to speak, to maximize the effect. With the proper tempo, emotion and understanding of the lyrics, he could have truly blown everyone away with this song and left everyone in the dust. I really hope he reaches that point soon, because his voice is a gem.
