You can pretty much say wrestling as a whole, just the business itself, promotes violence. Wrestling basically tells you that 'If you have a problem with someone, the solution is to beat the shit out of them'. This isn't counting any of the things you listed, but obviously those things add to it. How about Kane shocking Shane's balls? I just think someone had it out for Danielson for whatever reason and thats what did him in. Word has it when this blows over they will bring him back

i hope after Danielson's 90-day no compete clause expires he will just sign with TNA. TNA is a more "indy friendly" promotion. the wrestlers there are allowed to take bookings on the indy circut. because Danielson has a huge following on the indy's and overseas I think it would be more beneficial for him to sign with TNA. he will get good exposure almost like in WWE and he will still be able to work on the indy circut.

apparently somone outside of the WWE that was important didnt like the fact that Danielson choked Justin Roberts with the neck tie and also spitting in John Cena's face didnt go over well with this important person either. Vince had no choice but to release Danielson. There is speculation that it could be someone from Mattel the new toy company for WWE. It's been said that Mattel has alot of influence on WWE.

To my knowlege, he's really fired. If I were him, I wouldn't come back even if they begged me to. WWE sucks in every possible way. TNA is better by far. I think Danielson would be used better there anyway. He doesn't seem like the pg kind of guy. Honestly WWE is so bad now, I only watch maybe like an hour a week. This NXT angle seems stupid as well. The guys on that show are pretty lame. They should have just expanded on the cole/danielson feud.

@zackvanhalen I would have to disagree with some of that. Mainly the TNA statement. TNA is such a cheap, piece of shit promotion. It used to be great. Ever since they committed themselves to try to replicate WWE's success based on their business model, they've become worse than WWE could ever become.

@thumbzscrewz I don't think they're worse than the WWE...at least not Raw. I really just hate everything about Raw and have for years now. TNA isn't perfect at all, but I still say that it is better than WWE imo. I'd give TNA a 6.5/10 right now overall and I'd give Raw a 2/10. I know that seems harsh, but the John Lovitz segment was the last straw for me. Now they fire Danielson...give me a break. I'll take a Ric Flair clad AJ Styles over John Cena anyday. Just my opinion.

I'm hoping that this is a work. Considering the talent Danielson possesses, his popularity both among the fans and the locker room, a small incident like this wouldn't merit being 'future endeavored.' And if TPTB want to argue that it was too violent for current programming standards, let's not forget that CM Punk beat the holy hell out of Jeff Hardy with a steel chair almost a year ago, during his heel turn. Maybe it's only inappropriate if Vince didn't think of it first.
