And just to add to that when you say your mind is like a circus, thats because you are "trying" to think good thoughts all the time and when you are doing that you are actually suppressing any negative thoughts. That used to be me. I came across Osho and his teachings are just witness your thoughts, whatever they are who cares!!!! and before long after letting your thoughts do what they want they will completely dissapear. Obviously easier said than done, but I have become way more relaxed.
Eckart Tolles teachings are similar to Osho's. "Become the watcher". Abraham on the other hand is teaching you how to think positive thoughts. The problem with Abraham's teachings is most people become identified with their mind and think that is who they are. when that is exactly the main point of Echart tolle and oshos teachings, you are the witness and the mind is like a computer. You are the master, your mind is your servant. They are actually quite different teachings ifyoubreakitdown.
"Fear is the same vibration as excitement filtered through beliefs that do not align with who you actually are." (Bashar) Abraham emphasizes Positive thoughts and fantastic; keep practicing being inside the vortex. But you are ready now to add more tools to your tool kit. Bashar's is in alignment with Abraham but offers more tools. There is no need to run from fear. Also check out Bashar.org & click on "An Introduction from Bashar". More teachers will appear as you need them.
Your recent willingness to become aware of the Illuminati and feel the fear associated with them may seem like a "bad thing" - something to avoid but it actually means your liberation is at hand. You are far more beautiful, wonderful and powerful than you are aware of at this moment. Watch "Bashar -What is fear" and his related videos on You Tube. You can also get more hope and optimism about 2012 With Bashar's free You Tube Videos on 2012
cant hear your sound at all, what is the question in 50 words that you want asking to abraham at a seminar please? love to you brave soul, i love your other uploads, stay alive and i hope we will meet some day!
its damn confusing that our only work is to feel good time after time, just feel good time after time and watch the floodgates open to powerful powerful good people and connections, just feel a little bit better or a little bit worse thats all one has to do. lol.
Nothing wrong in saying that one is better than the other. Because first, you or I, cannot listen both Abraham and Eckhart's videos on the same time, so I must chose something to watch "in The Now" :) . Preference is a good thing and from personal experience my journey was like this: 1.Bashar, 2.Abraham 3. brief Tolle and 4.more Abraham. In Bashar was more determination in Tolle was more knowledge about religion and in Abraham is more pure Joy. That really reflect my past emotional state..
Nice to read your thoughts as well as view video. Perhaps i understand or it may be that i have related in part or whole, because of conflicting teachings of my early youth. Still i have an ear to hear words and thoughts which sustain the being i was in my early youth. .... "that which is Spirit is spirit". i have been blessed with a beautiful imagination, within it all is harmony all living are connected, respected as if "I am You" and there, there is no need of money. we are all honest.
I completely relate to what you said here about being an introvert thinking all the time being like a circus.. It sounds funny, but really that's exactly how it feels. I've been trying to put into practice some of the ideas I've been reading about, (ab-hicks) but also find it nearly impossible unless I have the book right in front of me and get some inspiration in the moment. Otherwise it feels forced. I see others (extroverts, yes) using the same ideas with great results.
I consider myself an introvert also, and love the A-H material better than Tolle, tho his stuff is very good. As an introvert, I found it way too easy to be hard on myself in my thoughts and almost impossible to 'quiet' that mind, even thru meditation. Spend time with the A-H vids here, NOTICE that they now have online sections to their workshops now! I strongly advocate that you notice when you FEEL good, and recreate that as much as possible. Good everything to you!
Thank you for posting this. I did initially think there was a disparity between the two teachings but upon getting further into "Ask and It is Given" I realized that Abraham/Hicks states that the default state of being is one of peace. Therefore a quite mind is a peaceful mind - one aligned with the Source. Essentially this is the aspect that Tolle focuses most of his time discussing. What Tolle only touches upon, but Abraham/Hicks discusses in detail is the minds ability to "create worlds"
I really relate to your quandary......I am deeply drawn to both teachings & in a way I think it's just a matter of personal style......I found ET profoundly moving from the first but others are left cold by his approach. I really feel that both are deeply compatible....Many thanks for this, xxx
...to continue from my previous comment: I have found that the physical circumstances in one's life also play a role in this. eg. If you are sitting on a sunny beach sipping a cocktail then its easy to think better-feeling thoughts. However, if you are in the midst of something rather more unpleasant it may be too much of a stretch to find a good-feeling thought and easier to rather quiet your mind. As an aside: I find that daily meditation helps make both approaches easier and more natural.
I to have pondered this seeming "conflict" between the teachings of Eckhart Tolle and those of Abraham Hicks. Abraham does indirectly touch on this subject in some of their YouTube recordings. Usually within the context of meditation as a tool to suspend thinking. I think your insight is accurate in that some people find it easier to quiet their minds and other people find it easier to change their thinking (perhaps because they find it difficult to quiet their minds).
thanks for the comment. Yeah um, it's interesting. I feel like LOA is expanding (maybe, I think I've heard abraham say that) and were still tuning it all out- the processes and such. I really do feel like it's a valid issue and would help a lot individuals to get some clarity there. Well I'm gona try and not fret too much about it. Stay present, noticing when I'm feeling good and milk it!!
It's not really that controversial. What Abraham calls "Source", that is what Eckhart calls "Being". Eckhart teaches to enjoy the most that you can of each moment NOW. Abraham teaches that in order to manifest things you have to be in a vibration of appreciation so even if you are around stuff that you don't like , you can still think about the stuff you appreciate NOW to get aligned. If you think about future/past you are doing it NOW! What is your vibration NOW!? I see no contradictions...
