I was gonna get the 5770 but I wanted to future proof my PC as my current PC I'm putting it in, I will re use the card in my new build. I just don't know if it is a HUGE price difference. Also are newegg and tigerdirect fairly equal?

@kensuu1995 both. you can crossfire even an HD 5450 with 5870. what u cant is crossfine one hd 5xxxx with 4xxx for example. but i recommend u to crossfire with the same graphic card, ex: HD 5850 + HD 5850.

nice quick review man. i think u'll need a patch for shift cus im also gaming with 5850. it was somewhat laggy. but after installing the patch you'll get butter smooth fps.

@saopaulino333 Opa, eu recem comprei um monitor 23' FullHD e ela ta empurrando Crysis com AA 2x, Very High, 1920x1080 bem de boa. Unico que ela sofre um pouco é Metro 2033 ( na verdade não tem placa nenhuma do mercado que consiga jogar sem quedas de fps ).

esse processador vai gargalar bastante a placa de video. vai segurar algo como 30~35% do desempenho dela. tem que fazer overclock nele, e bastante pra conseguir esse desempenho perdido.

The Athlon II X2 250 is much slower, so a Phenom II 940 will be much faster! In which resolution do you play? Because when you play in resolutions like 1650x1080 the HD5770 is fast enough for all games (except Crysis ;-) ).

The Gtx 275 does not even compare with the HD5850 The Ati Radeon HD4890 is cheaper and faster than the Gtx 275.

About dirt i mean i can start the game perfectly but if the game starts then the game crach to desktop.

I tryed all settings low settings and other compactibility, but notthing didnt work.

@Snake1979xfire you need to go post a thread at Guru3d forums or some other gaming forum site, someone might be able to help you there and if you do you need to give you pc specs. youtube isn't the best place for troubleshooting pc issues.

same thing as Vista... Just install the game and run. O try to run in Vista mode ( propertis > compability > run as Vista 64/32 or XP. )

Saphire I had one it took 10 minutes to warm up then it was smooth ... in any game.. Then it just got faster and faster... which I liked afterwards..

no, because the HD 5850 series actually are the same cards, they are stock ( same PCB as the ATI recommended ), they are new in the market and the manufacturer didn't got any time for change the specs ( just the specs, but the coolers they changed a log time ago, like the Sapphire Vapor-X, Toxic etc... ). It will take some time to apears new cards, like the shits of XFX HD 4890 with problems caused by XFX... but doesn't mean that the cards will got problems.

@WarriorBrr With that card you should have still uped the resolution, we all know its a powerful card ur not exsacly showing us its potencial or power properly at that resolution. and he is right 1gb does make it run higher resolutions better. and yes lower the resoltion the faster frames wil be, but with 1 gb the performance hit shoudl be minor with this card.
