i have windows movie maker but its not working right now something on my computer is keeping it from popping up.

It's probably because there maybe a virus on your computer. I also have Adobe Permiere Elments 7 that I use sometimes.

I'm not sure I understand what you're getting at. I make the videos because I love Smallville. How I make them, is that I used a program called windows movie maker.
