I've seen in Peshawar University how young students have gone spoiled listening to these poems and songs, they love drinking and smoking hash with these songs, and when u say to them " Ya Alaka da sakay mussalmana? pa zan raham ooka yaar" they will say to u " teh sa khabar yay da dey mazay na,......" so if one of u is really intelligent enough to write the philosophy behind this, it will be a great favour to the youngsters,, it will stop the fashion of saying " Oh wht a great song" too

no one is comparing this world to paradise, Ghani khan knew about Islam then those corrupt Mullahs. When He says that "Jam wochat ka musalman sha" He is not asking people to drink alcohol. There is philosophy behind those lines there is love for God and love for his creatures and the universe. Ghani Khan is basically telling those Wanabe Mullah that there is more to religion then their version of Religion and their corrupt teachings and brainwashing of ignorant people.

This is by far the most appealing piece of poetry i have heard in any language. Ghani Khan is great and is very well sung by Sardar Ali Takkar. The Mullahs are just like that and are infusing their confused version of islam in very straight forward rural Pathan Youth.Altough Ghani Khan spent quite a bit of time in Mahatma Gandhi's Ashram but still he remains the sole representitive of free lucid thoughts in Pushto language.
