I love the video and the sound of the waves. The speed of the Canon is nice, too, but I wish it was a real orchestra instead of a synthesized one. Nothing can take the place of the warmth of real strings.

@1HarryH - Actually, there is very little dubbing, and what dubbing is done to make it synch better with the camera view. The microphone is a 5.1 surround mic recording live. You actually here the waves crashing behind the camera, to the side and finally in front. The telephoto shot above, the mic can barely hear those waves, as its really just recording those nearby which you notice correctly seem to breaking earlier or off camera as the set moves down the beach. :-)

Ok, How do you prevent wind noise recordings, is it because the microphone (5.1 surround mic) I have a problem with wind noise, probably due to a cheap (Casio Exlim) characteristics of the camera brings the sound of wind shattered the beach?

@1HarryH - Well, its a Holophone 5.1 mic (you can google that) that is shaped like your head but smaller. I have 1 inch foam and a furry cap on top of that for winds up to 12mph or so. But I did have to edit some wind noise out on a few shots, and if you listen carefully you can hear some high pitch wind with the windsurfers on other clips. Most wind you can reduce by a bass filter at 80 hz. or so.

@CoffeyBreaks - That's why I'm posting both music and non-music versions. Our normal DVDs have no music. Our new Hawaii Beaches has bonus 22 min music video with 6 soundtracks. So, I'm expanding a bit and trying to see what the feedback is. The point is you will get tired of music, but you will never tire of ocean wave sounds.
