Al of you are dopey ....cuz qari basit's beard never grew in the first place and even if it did he would have kept it. And you who says i have not read it or heard it......then read the transalation of the quraan and the hadith propperly. the prophet did keep a beard the size of their fist...so those who have knowledge.....shaving is going against the prophet and going against the prophet is called KUFR, MUNAFIQ, MUSHRIK.

I think that you are talking about is Sunat of the prophet Muhammed (saw), He had beard the lenght of his hand. But i have never herd about haram to shave nor have i read it any wear.

cuz he maybe thought it was right. not everyone is a scholar or a student of knowledge. and there are muslims who say that its not haram to shave, what proof they have i dont know but it must be very weak. it has nothin to do with hanafiyyah madhhab cuz hanafiyyah are very harsh on that, real hanafiyyah dont cut or shave their beard, they leave at least the lenght of ones hand.
