if nutty would leave him at this tame stage, he would simply die! not everybody is friendly towards weak animals or weaker humans! allways remember that! if he plans on releasing him into the wild, then he will need some weeks of NO CONTACT with him at all, but only his food in the morning. thats the only way how a squirrel can wild up, and become a well prepared squirrel!

All squirrels are like that if you get them as a baby, UNTIL THEY GROW UP. Then they no longer want to be handled at all, and do *not* make good 'pets'. It's good to see that the man who found him seems to be aware of this and knows that Nutty will grow up and return to the wild. They're adorable and cute...but not a good pet.
