  • oh i see so it will be fast but i have time warner and if im downloading a torrent the fastest it has ever gone witch was like for a second but then whent back down was 1mbps

    whent back to 700kbps

  • is there a way i can use a desktop computer using a laptops keyboard, mousepad and monitor cuz i dont like my laptop slow proccesing spead but i dont like the desktops feel

  • @zerorisers1 yes but it would require some hacking. it would probably just be better to buy a faster laptop ;)

  • @UltimatePwnageNL i dont have much money im turning 14 (legal age to work in tx) on the 10th of feb and i need a job

  • @zerorisers1 remote desktop would be the easiest solution, but then you can't really watch video or game. the hard but better way would be to connect the laptop display, keyboard and touchpad to the pc, but even some of the most hardcore nerds can't do that. you CAN use just the keyboard and touchpad of the laptop on the pc while using the pc's monitor using "synergy" or "input director" (both free software).

  • @UltimatePwnageNL ah well i know someone that can prob get that monitor and udo a few screws to do that im pretty sure u can do it easy with the monitor but the keyboard and mouse i had no idea about. so thank you do u need any hardware to use the software so there wont be lag?

  • @zerorisers1 no, the software requires only a lan. to reduce lag it would be best to connect both the pc and the laptop with a cable to the same lan hub or switch, wifi is high latency. i have occasionally gamed on a pc with the keyboard and mouse of a different pc and it worked great. both were connected to a 1gbps switch, but 100mbps should work just as well as it's all about latency not speed. tip: turn off any downloads to reduce lag. especially torrents.

  • @UltimatePwnageNL trust me i have to turn off everything and even a whole bunch of services sometimes i wave to cut off another laptops connection to the enternet but then my bro gets home and pissed cuz he cant play navyfield

  • @zerorisers1 get a cheap lan switch and use it privately, then connect it with 1 wire to the main router which has internet. its like 15-25 dollars (about the same in euros). its a connection between the laptop and the pc, not via internet but via internal network (lan)

  • @UltimatePwnageNL ah so it wont slow down enternet connection and i will view everything from the desktop on my laptop

  • @zerorisers1 no... it wont slow down internet, you will use the keyboard and touchpad of the laptop and view on the pc display.

  • Are you people retarded? This video is from 2007!

  • The Bat Cave? Batmans moved on to 1080p dude...

  • 240p we meet again

  • im trying to Deside... Three 24inc Screens or 1 45/50inc Flatscreen HDT TV

  • For a person who already knows about dual monitors, this video sucks. For someone who wants to know just a little about it, it's an ok video.

  • @patten08 The video was made 3 years ago, and at the time the technology from DisplayLink with the ability to add multiple monitors via USB was still new.

  • i can run 4 monitors right now if i wanted to, AND have 7.1channel audio

    5770 is the bomb

  • thx for information :)

  • lawlz i haz 2 monitors

  • Two words... Epic, random

  • whats is the software used to be able to use the usb. insted of geting a video gard

  • Thats some random-ass screens you have there lol. I prefer the Dell 2007fp's for mutlimonitor use. They look nice all lined up together, minimal borders as well.

  • my principale at shool has four moniters set up

  • is having a multiple monitor needs a faster processor? or as long as your video card support dual monitor, it doesn't matter?

  • You are right. I have a dual monitor setup and it's not much strain at all on the video card or processor, I didn't notice a change in the performance anyway.

  • technically yes, but as i see his laptop i don't think you need ver high grade shit.

  • that's a weak ass set up

  • lol, true..

  • Still... help people understand ;)

  • Niiiiiice!!! i liked it! thanks 4 sharing Keith!

  • wouldn't it be cool to have 2 screen pong, or 2 screen pacman? that'd be cool. i'm such a retro geek.

  • wait, you know how when packman goes through the hole at the sides of the screen, he appears at the other side... well... i just went and confused my self.... how would that work...

  • and really you start feeling like a superhero because youv' got the four different moniters. lol 3:00

  • ..It's a cool tool!

  • I give an F to this poor presentation.

  • stock brokers can't be productive

  • jeez, it's just a demo

  • so is your ego

  • so is your balls they are too high, newsflash they are supposed to hang not be inside you

  • you can use 4 monitors with two graphics cards. ABove is wrong. sli is only used when i gaming so obviously you wouldnt use it then. YOu just disable sli in nvidia panel.

  • lol that stupid adapter is $100

  • so you cant just hook up an old monitor to the back of your laptop and expect it to work?

  • will a sli setup allow me to run 4 monitors? When enabling and disabling sli in the nvidia control panel, when i disable sli link up mode will the disabled card no longer be using extra power(watts) and save electric. SO when i disable sli when i dont need it will it no longer be drawing the extra electric and save electric bills. THe only rean i am considering sli is so i can run 3-4 monitors. COuld i run any cheap nvidia card with my 8800 gts 512 with no problems.

  • you can't use multi-monitors with SLi

  • That LG is way too tall can you say Lawsuit over neck pain..

  • yeah law suit over your a wanker. it's good to see you value your health.

  • ok to do this step by step you must:

    1.Have vga-vgi connectors

    2.Have a screen with a usb cord

3.Have an adapter for a vga screen that converts it into a usb 2.0 cord

4.Using one [type] of the following connect multiple screens to it and then go to display and configure it.

5.You may or may not need to re-boot you SHOULD know how to do that.

    6.Go crazy

  • can some 1help me i am confused
