Thank you!!! Nora's aside to the camera in "After The Thin Man" -- after Nick konks Dancer on the noggin with the phone..she looks at the camera and says, "See". This was one of , if not the first time the 4th wall was broken -- an actor addressing the audience. Hope and Crosby later made this a staple of their Road pictures.
